Meet the team

psychological minds-Dr Christopher BurkeChris Burke has over sixteen years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults suffering from psychological distress. He gained his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Edinburgh University in 2003.
This gave him a solid grounding in the application of clinical psychology across the life span. Chris has since completed a post graduate diploma in Therapeutic Skills with Children and Young people through the Scottish Institute of Human Relations.
Chris has developed his practice across a variety of settings:

psycological minds-dr sheilagh hyndSheilagh has a particular interest in Complex Trauma and is a member of the British Psychological Society team which develops research training and education in the area. She has created and delivered specialist training to the Scottish Government and the legal profession and has consulted on a public inquiry. 

She is interested in organisational dynamics and team building as well as psychotherapy.


Catriona has extensive experience both independently and within the NHS working  with children and adolescents exposed to abuse and neglect and adults affected by substance misuse. Catriona provides individual and group art psychotherapy, therapeutic support for parents and carers, consultancy, clinical supervision and training.

An experienced Administrator, Sharon oversees the smooth running of the Psychological Minds training programmes.

Rona has over 10 years experience working with children and adolescents affected by complex trauma. She provides play therapy and counselling, therapeutic support for parents and carers, consultancy, clinical supervision and is the creative force behind our training.
